Pastor McClure

Senior Pastor David W. McClure, Jr., received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1980 and was called to the ministry in 1983. He was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1995 and Ordained on October 21, 2001, to the Office of Reverend. He is a graduate of Christian Bible Institute (CBI) of New Haven, Connecticut and also Bethel Bible Institute (BBI) of New York. He attended Bethel Bible Institute (BBI) for four years and graduated with a Bachelor Diploma in Biblical Theology.

Pastor David McClure, Jr. served in the Prison Ministry for 25 years. He has also served in ministry at Christ Chapel New Testament Church under the tutelage of Bishop William M. Philpot, Sr. for over 28 years. He served in the capacity of Youth Staff Leader for the Youth Ministry and Youth Choir Assistant for 15 years. While there, he also served on the Diaconate Board and Ministry Board.

In October 2005, Pastor McClure was ordained to Senior Pastor of New Life Worship Center under the Divine order of Bishop Jay Ramirez of Kingdom Life Christian Church in Milford, Connecticut. The Church was birthed during the month of March 2005 and the first service was held on Sunday, May 22, 2005.

New Life Worship Center is now located and in operation in New Haven, Connecticut. Several ministries have been birthed from the beginning of this ministry. Pastor McClure specializes in Men’s Ministry and also launched a powerful mentoring program reaching boys ages 8 to 18 years old. He is all about pushing, encouraging and mentoring men, women and the body of Christ into their destiny and their God-given purpose.

Under Pastor McClure’s leadership, several Radio Outreach Ministries have been birthed at WDJZ Radio Station, entitled “Spirit and Truth Broadcast”, Pastor’s Connection” and the newest one called “Starting A New Day Broadcast.” Also a dynamic weekly Prison Bible Study has been birthed and has been a blessing to many who are incarcerated. Pastor McClure has a passion and a desire to change and restore this generation through the preaching of the Gospel and teach the Word of God to men, women, boys and girls so that they may grow and become mature in the Kingdom of God.

He is married to Lady Ruthie L. McClure and together they have four children and three grand children.
